Hermosa Beach, CA

It was a very foggy day. So foggy, in fact, it was difficult to see beyond the trees on the Greenbelt. I’m not exactly sure how far this fog spread throughout the South Bay. Despite the moisture and the impaired sight, it felt extremely relaxing. It is the kind of weather that makes you want to curl up with a good book.

Dew was everywhere.
Drops were just hanging off the pine needles.
Droplets surviving into the afternoon.
Some are still quite large.
Delicately balanced on the leaves, which I had trouble distinguishing from grass.

Sometimes the simplest things are beautiful and quite delicate.
